Invitation to Exhibit
The Kansas Council and Missouri Society of Health-System Pharmacists are pleased to announce the 2012 Annual Meeting, being held Thursday, April 19 through Saturday, April 21 at the Kansas City Convention Center in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.

Whether you have exhibited in years prior or are new to the industry, this event is an ideal venue to get acquainted with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy students from Kansas, Missouri, and neighboring states. The theme of this year’s event is “Transform Patient Care”. Event programming includes presentations on managing change, pharmacy automation, cardiology, evidence-based decision making, the Pharmacy Practice Model Initiative (PPMI), disaster response protocols, and statute/regulation updates from the respective State Boards of Pharmacy. This is a great opportunity for vendors to discuss their products with pharmacists in a single professional setting.

The exhibit session is a regular highlight of our event, and we welcome your participation. The exhibit hall will be open on Friday, April 20 from 3:45 - 6:30 p.m. with an hors d’oeuvres reception and Foundation fundraisers; and on Saturday, April 21 from 11:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. with lunch provided.

You may also take advantage of any number of opportunities to further promote your company. Sponsorships, educational grants, and advertising are all means available to you to increase your recognition at the Annual Meeting.

Exhibit Site
The Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, MO will be the site of the 2012 KCHP/MSHP Annual Meeting. The Convention Center is located at 301 West 13th St.

Directions: From the KCI Airport: follow I-29 S to US-169 S; Exit at US-169 S and continue onto Broadway to 13th Street.

Exhibit Schedule
The exhibit hall will be open from 3:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, April 20 with an hors d’oeuvres reception; and from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, April 21 with lunch.

To encourage visitors to your booth, each Exhibitor will receive tickets in their registration packet. These tickets will be used in a drawing for various pharmacy-related books and items, and may be handed to attendees who visit your booth.

Booth Rental Fees
Each booth costs $1,000 (double booths are $1,500) payable in full to the Missouri Society of Health-System Pharmacists. A contract for exhibit space or a copy of the contract must accompany payment. Please note: A maximum of three company representatives will be allowed to staff any one booth at one time. Fee includes:

• One 8’x10’ booth with 8’-high back drapes and 3’-high side dividers
• One 6’ table and two chairs
• Standard booth sign displaying your company name
• Security service
• One full-service registration
• Wastebasket

Late Fee and Cancellation
Contracts received after March 19, 2012 will be assessed a $50 late fee. A $100 administrative fee will be assessed for all exhibit booth cancellations. Refunds will be given upon request until March 19, 2012. Restrictions on Exhibit Hall Attendees
KCHP and MSHP have limited the exhibit hall attendance to registered attendees only. Non-healthcare professionals may not attend the exhibit program.

NOTE: The exhibit hall will be fully carpeted except for the dining area.

Booth Set-Up/Dismantling
Exhibitors may begin setting up equipment and related materials on Thursday, April 19 at 1:00 p.m. and must be finished by Friday, April 20 at 2:30 p.m. Booths and exhibits will be dismantled immediately following the close of the exhibit session at approximately 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, April 21. All dismantling must be completed by 2:30 p.m.

Meeting Registration
Separate meeting registration is required prior to attending any of the KCHP/MSHP meeting sessions or social functions. One complete registration is included in the exhibitor fee. Additional exhibit personnel may register for the meeting.

Program Advertising
All Annual Meeting attendees receive a program packet with an Advertisers section, schedule of events, and other important information. Heighten your company’s visibility to all participants by advertising in the program!

• Printing Specifications - Ad copy must be submitted in camera-ready format.
• Ad space reservation due March 1, 2012. Final camera ready ads due March 19, 2012.

Hotel Reservations
Exhibitors are responsible for their own hotel accommodations. A guest room block has been arranged at The Aladdin Hotel & Spa with a group rate of $119 for single-double occupancy. To ensure room availability, make reservations prior to March 19, 2012. Reservations may be made by calling (877) 224-2870, and referencing the KCHP/MSHP Annual Meeting.

Liability
The exhibitor, on signing the contract for exhibit space, expressly releases the Kansas Council of Health-System Pharmacists and the Missouri Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and their members and representatives, from any and all claims of injury, loss or damage that may occur to the exhibitor, the exhibitor’s employees or the exhibitor’s property from any cause whatsoever.

The exhibitor also assumes the entire responsibility and liability for losses, damages, and claims arising out of exhibitor’s activities on the Hotel premises and will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Hotel’s agents, servants, and employees from any and all such losses, damages, and claims.
